SINGLE AXLE UTILITY TRAILER PLAN

Single axle 7X12 utility trailer with angle iron rail

This plan may be used or adapted for most any size single axle utility trailer and includes steps for the optional angle rail and spare tire mount shown here.   A 6’ x 12’ trailer is pictured.

MOBILE FISH HOUSE TRAILER PLAN

Mobile fish house trailer
Plan builds this 6’ x 12’ trailer that uses a special torsion axle that will allow the frame to be lowered so that it rests only 4” off the ice on blocks of wood which prevents it from getting “frozen in”.  You can then design & build your dream fish house and never have the hassle of trying to load or unload a clumsy house onto a trailer not designed to carry it as the house stays on the trailer.  You can use the steps in this plan to build most any size single or double axle fish house trailer you wish.

TILT SNOWMOBILE / ATV TRAILER PLAN

This plan will build an 8’ x 10’ tilt  snowmobile / ATV type trailer and includes the ski clamp down bars.  May be adapted or modified for wider or longer applications.

“V”-NOSE SINGLE AXLE SNOWMOBILE TRAILER PLAN

An 8'3" X 12' V Front Trailer with a ramp

This plan will build a single axle “V”-nose snowmobile / ATV trailer and includes the optional slide-out rear ramp and tray plus ski tie-down bars.  Trailer pictured is a 99” x 12’ with additional 2’ of “V”-nose.

HOG HAULER TRAILER PLAN

Hog Hauler

Loading ramp

This plan builds a 6’3” x 10’  utility trailer designed to haul motorcycles.  This will easily handle two “baggers” or even three smaller bikes.  This trailer has a 3500# axle and uses a 3’x 6’3” loading ramp that doubles as a stone guard.  Plan is adaptable to larger or smaller sizes.

BUILDING AN ENCLOSED TRAILER PLAN

Enclosed trailer view from front

This plan walks you through the steps for building then enclosing a 5’3” X 8’ single axle trailer using readily available materials and includes a drop-down ramp door and rounded roof.  This is ready to glass the top & corners and paint to match this customer’s motorhome. The plan is adaptable for larger or smaller single axle trailers.
